Well, it worked. I want to see Inland Empire now. No, wait. It's been twenty years, but I still haven't forgiven him for Dune. No.
I loved Dune, and pretty much everything else Lynch has made, except Lost Highway (which I hated), and The Straight Story (which I haven't seen).His last film, Mulholland Dr, was definitely a step up for Lynch, so I expect great things from Inland Empire.
