Might be time for me to fill in that small gap between Neuromancer and Pattern Recognition

Here's a good interview with William Gibson. ((Belatedly) via.)

And here's a shorter Q&A. (Via.)

IMHO, it's a roller coaster. Some are pants-droppingly brilliant, some tough to engage with. My faves are Count Zero and Idoru. I am really excited about the new one, because PR was effin' dynamite. To me, that is.

I agree with Norm. Skip All Tomorrow's Parties, and by that I mean, if you see it in the remaindered bin somewhere, run far, far away.

I am a huge fan of the short story collection (Gleaming Chrome? Bitter Steel?).

Enjoy your catching up!

I love the short stories best of all, and the collection is entitled Burning Chrome.

Carrie, it grieves me to see someone be so wrong. Mona Lisa Overdrive is the one you want to skip ... *chortle*
